Re: Park and Recreation Committee Recommendation
At the Scandia Park and Recreation Committee meeting on Monday, November 7,the Committee at the request of the
Board discussed the idea of creating a Park Coordinator position for the Township. Although we didn't get into much
detail, the Committee sees a lot of value in creating such a position not only to oversee recreation programs but to
provide technical assistance with parks and train development and implementation of the comp plan. We would like
to explore it in more detail in the coming months. In addition, the Committee discussed recreation programs for the
upcoming months and has prepared a tentative list of planned activities to include:
