Re: Staff Report – MSA Update
• MSA reported receiving 99 completed Community Surveys on Tuesday, September 13th. The survey was
advertised as closing on Monday, September 12th.
• Staff determined delaying the close of the survey for the purpose of including an announcement in the
school district’s Digital Backpack would not benefit the overall project. Instead, staff worked with MSA
to schedule the Open House, and will work to promote this in-person event to parents and students in
the school district.
• Promotion of Open House to include (in addition to the Digital Backpack):
o Press Release
o Inclusion in the Scandia Fall Newsletter
o NextDoor, Facebook and Website news announcements
o Facebook Event
o Post graphic provided by MSA in the Community Center
o Staff to provide quarter sheet flyers available to PRC members for distribution in community and
area businesses
