NOTICE OF SPECIAL PLANNING COMMISSION
MEETING TO CONDUCT SITE VISITS
NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Scandia,
Washington County, Minnesota, will hold a special meeting on Sunday, December 4, 2022
beginning at 2:00 p.m. to visit the sites and gather information concerning the following
requests that will come before the Commission at its December 6, 2022 regular meeting:
• Interim Use Permit for animal density above the allowed number
Site Visit Location: 16315 209th Street North.
Applicants: Correy and Michelle Lorenz
On site at 2:00 p.m.
• Conditional Use Permit for a Detached Accessory Structure and Administrative Permit
for an Accessory Dwelling Unit in the structure
Site Visit Location: 23183 Meadowbrook Avenue North
Applicants: Mira and Michael Norcross
On site at 2:40 p.m.
• Preliminary Plat of an Open Space – Planned Unit Development to subdivide 61-acres
into 7 lots
Site Visit Location: Parcel ID 30.032.20.22.0004 (near Keystone Avenue and 199th
Street).
Applicant: Doug Schultz of Grandemoore Homes
On site at 3:20 p.m.
This is an official Planning Commission meeting and is therefore open to the public. The
Planning Commissioners will meet at the site visit locations. Owners, applicants and interested
parties are also invited to meet at the site.
