BACKGROUND
This memo is meant to provide a brief summary of actions taken by the City Council on items previously
reviewed by the Planning Commission. Planning and zoning requests (such as variances, conditional use
permits, code amendments, etc.) start with review and recommendations made by the Planning
Commission, and then are approved or denied by the City Council.
RECENT ITEMS
Variances
Variances to construct a dwelling on a nonconforming lot, located at 18558 Langly Avenue North.
o The Planning Commission recommended approval of the request at the 11/1 Planning
Commission meeting
o This request was tabled by the City Council on 11/15, and approved on 11/22, with the
conditions recommended by the Commission.
