3. log house landing ramp plan Staff Report Date of Meeting: June 1, 2016 To: City Council From: Neil Soltis, Administrator Re: Log House Landing Boat ramp Background: At the May 4 work session the Council and Board of the Carnelian-Marine-St. Croix Watershed District reviewed and made comments on the concept plan for the boat ramp. Revisions have been made to the plan and the Watershed District Board has requested a review of the changes that were made to the plan before work on finalizing the requests for proposals to be sent to contractors. Issue: Are there additional changes that need to be made to the revised plan for the project? Proposal Details: A copy of the plan is provided as an attachment. The plan includes additional clarification as to the materials and the construction of the ramp. Once the design has been approved by the Council and the Watershed Board, application will be made to the Army Corps of Engineers for a permit. Options: 1. Modify the plan 2.
