Park Signs:
Public Works is working with a vendor to produce the park entrance signs for Liten Park and Hay Lake Park and
wayfinding signs for Wind in the Pines Park. Sample images will be sent to Public Works and the best
representation will be chosen to be installed. Due to the intricate design of the Dala Horse Logo printed sign
inserts will likely be the best choice for the park entrance signs. Utilizing the printed sign will also be more
visible to oncoming traffic and pedestrians. The parks signs are scheduled to be installed this summer.
Liten Park:
This summer there will be much activity on the north lot of Liten Park. Due to the requirements set by the
purchase of the forfeited land a park sign and picnic table will be installed along with a short trail. The trail will
be cut out to of the native vegetation and will remain a grass trail maintained by the tractor flail mower.
Below is a representation of the trail which will be cut out of the native vegetation. Mowing activity will be
done as needed. The benefit of grass is that continuous mulch replacement will not be necessary and save
time and material.
