NOTICE OF SPECIAL PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
TO CONDUCT SITE VISIT
NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Scandia,
Washington County, Minnesota, will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, October 7, 2014
beginning at 5:40p.m. CDT to visit the sites and gather information concerning the following
request that will come before the Commission at its October 7, 2014 regular meeting:
Variances including lot size and lot setbacks to construct a single-family residence
Location: 18567 Lamar Avenue
Applicant: Shanna Anderson
(on site approximately 5:50pm)
Minor Subdivision to Create a 5-acre Parcel
Location: 21020 Meadowbrook Avenue
Applicants: Mary Kay Ruddy
(on site approximately 6:10pm)
Variances to construct an accessory structure closer to the road right-of-way than the principal
structure and from the 35-foot maximum height permitted in the General Rural Zoning District
Location: 21450 Pomroy Avenue
Applicants: Paul and Susan Rodjso
(on site approximately 6:30pm)
This is an official Planning Commission meeting and is therefore open to the public. The Planning
Commission will meet in the Scandia Community Center parking lot (14717 209th St. N.) at 5:40 p.m.
Interested citizens may meet at the Community Center at that same time and drive along with
commissioners. Owners and applicants are also invited to meet at the site.
