Re: Coffee and Connections
Background:
At the March meeting the EDA agreed to work with the Forest Lake Area Chamber of
Commerce to bring a chamber meeting to Scandia businesses.
Proposal Details:
I met with Ted Blank, FLACC Director, and we selected Wed, May 13th, 7:45am8:45am for the
first meeting with Scandia businesses around the idea of coffee and connections. He will be
lining up speakers to talk about business succession planning. There will also be time for
businesses to network with each other. A couple members of the FLACC board will also attend.
We are working on confirming the location (Meisters) and will have flyers out soon that will be
mailed to Scandia businesses.
EDA members offered to help spread the word and personally invite folks to this meeting.
