Re: FLACC Membership
Background:
At our March meeting we heard from Ted Blank, Forest Lake Area Chamber of Commerce
Director, about chamber activities, structure and membership. I asked him about EDA members
and he said Forest Lake and Wyoming EDAs are members of FLACC.
Issue:
Should the EDA become a member of the FLACC?
Proposal Details:
Included in your packet is a list of the membership investment levels and a description of
benefits associated with each. A membership at the bronze level would be sufficient to advertise
our EDA and show our support for the FLACC.
Fiscal Impact:
The EDA has approximately $760 currently and will be receiving another $5,000 from property
taxes in 2015.
Options:
1) Membership at Bronze level
2) Membership at another level
3) Do not become a member
