Re: Promotional Brochure
Background:
At our last meeting we talked about creating a brochure to promote Scandia. President Swanson
has provided some examples in your packet. I’ve also include some sample of promotional
materials I helped coordinate in the past as well as a sample RFP.
Issue:
Does the EDA want to develop a promotional brochure? Who is the audience? What
information is important to include (can’t be everything to everyone)? Should space for business
ads be included? What other requirements might be included in a Request for Proposals? Who
will provide content (photos and wording) for brochure?
Proposal Details:
The commissioners should begin discussing more specific aspects of a brochure if they are
interested in pursuing this project (see questions above for guidance in discussion). Samples
have been provided and you are encouraged to bring others you are interested in.
Options:
1) Identify parameters for design, audience and RFP
2) Continue discussion to next meeting
