NOTICE OF SPECIAL PLANNING COMMISSION
MEETING TO CONDUCT SITE VISITS
NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Scandia,
Washington County, Minnesota, will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, April 6, 2021
beginning at 4:30 p.m. to visit the sites and gather information concerning the following
requests that will come before the Commission at its April 6, 2021 regular meeting:
• Variance to construct a new single-family residence
Site Visit Location: 13160 182nd Street North
Applicants: Tim Boncher, on behalf of property owners James and Dana Tonrey
On site at 4:30 p.m.
• Conditional Use Permit for a Rural Event Center, and potential zoning amendment
Site Visit Location: 20168 St. Croix Trail North
Applicants: Greg and Andrea Sandager
On site at 4:55 p.m.
• Variances to alter an existing non-conforming structure
Site Visit Location: 20033 Quinnell Avenue North
Applicant: Craig Smith and Merritt Clapp-Smith
On site at 5:15 p.m.
• Variance to alter an existing non-conforming structure
Site Visit Location: 16970 197th Street North
Applicant: Mark Holloway on behalf of property owner Nancy Staub
On site at 5:35 p.m.
This is an official Planning Commission meeting and is therefore open to the public. The
Planning Commissioners will meet at the site visit locations. Owners, applicants and interested
parties are also invited to meet at the site.
